Research

My research centres on computational modelling of environmental and engineering processes, particularly where particle-scale interactions shape system-scale behaviour.

Computational Fluid Dynamics

Numerical modelling of turbulent, free-surface, multiphase and particle-laden flows, with attention to accuracy, stability and physical interpretation.

Sediment Transport and Morphodynamics

Process-based and particle-based modelling of erosion, transport, deposition, bedforms and evolving river morphology.

Rheology and Thixotropy

Constitutive and structural-kinetics modelling of non-Newtonian materials, including time-dependent material behaviour.

Geomechanics and Geothermal

Flow and transport in porous media, partially saturated systems and coupled thermal-hydraulic processes.
